Nature's Reserve Alpacas – located on the beautiful Delaware River

When Janet and Joe retired in 2004, Janet as a surgical nurse in New Jersey and Joe in the rodeo profession for 12 years and Fly-fishing for the past 21 years, they decided they wanted animals that they could easily handle and enjoy. They both decided Alpacas were the ideal animal for them.
In 2006, Elody was their first Alpaca purchased and soon after they traveled to Virginia to buy seven more and were delivered to their ranch in Callicoon, New York in October when it was cool enough to travel with the Aplaca. Elody was bred and had their first cria on the ranch. In their first year, their first two crias took ribbons.
As of August 2008 Nature's Reserve has 18 Alpaca with one on the way. Nature's Reserve is very careful when buying Alpaca. They strive in finding great fleece and show quality animals.
